Feel free to hand the newsletter out to a friend, co-worker, neighbor, or anyone else you would like to invite to our Eagle MOPS group! The following is taken from the February newsletter:
What is MOPS???
Our mission statement is as follows: “MOPS International exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.”
What does that mean for you? As a member of a MOPS group, you will experience meetings and group activities that are relevant, relationally inclusive, growth-oriented, purposeful, and passionately Christian. All these things sound great down on paper, right? However, we act these things out throughout the year! We have relevant topics of discussion that relate to you as a mother, a resident of the Treasure Valley, and as a woman. We value relationships! So much so, that we look for every opportunity to have moms get together and form these friendships. Our leaders also purposely plan speakers and activities that challenge us to grow as a parent, a Christian, and on an individual level as well. We strive to provide a safe place no matter your faith background. Come check us out!

Eagle MOPS February Events:
· February 7th— Young Life Fundraiser! Young Life is a non-denominational outreach organization for middle school, high school, and college-aged students. Their ministry to teen moms is called, Young Lives. Young Life's ultimate goal is to give these kids the opportunity to hear about Jesus and choose for themselves to enter into a life-changing relationship with Him. One of the best ways to do this is to send kids to camp each summer. Young Lives will be holding a Bunco Fundraiser to start raising money to get our teen moms and their babies to camp this summer. The Fundraiser will be on Thursday, February 7th at 7:00 pm at Eagle Nazarene Church. The cost is $10 and 100% of that will go to get girls to camp. Just show up with your $10 on the 7th and be ready for a great time! Contact Becka Marston with questions: 310-962-4756, bam@spu.edu
