December Events!

Take a moment and write these dates on your calendars!  You'll not want to miss these upcoming events!

· December 6th  10AM MOPS Play-date at Jump Time Idaho 1375 E. Fairview (208) 855-5867

· December 13th “Belly Flop into Christmas” -including our fundraising raffle...
The Raffle is a great way to get a chance to share with friends, get a chance to win some gifts, and help MOPS raise a little money for the group!
How the raffle works...on December 13th please bring a gift to add to the raffle. This gift should NOT be something that you have to go out and buy. Look around your house for things that you may no longer use but others may enjoy...
Those socks, dish towels, crazy plates, candles etc. that you got as a gift over the last few years but you never put to use.... Do you make something that you might be able to give as a gift?  Do you have a talent that you can offer as a gift (coupon for a homemade lasagna, a house cleaning, or donate some babysitting)? ...think of that you might like to get as a gift!

Now here is the fun part... bring your gift in a gift bag so no one can tell what it is!  All gifts will be placed on table, and our fellow moms will be able to purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win.

You can purchase one raffle ticket for $1.00 or 7 tickets for $5.00

One by one the bags will be taken from the table and shown to the group, and you can then decide if you would like to take a chance (put in one of your raffle tickets) on the gift... We will walk around, show you the bag, maybe tell you if it's heavy or light, and then once everyone that is interested puts their ticket in we will draw to see who wins that gift. This will be the process until all gifts are raffled off.

This is a great way to have a good time and go home with some fun gifts!!!!
· December 20th  Sign Up to Serve! 5:45-9pm our MOPS group will be sharing the joy of Christmas at the Salvation Army's Toy and Joy Store! There are only 15 spots available, so sign up with Heidi Hartnett via email pjhartnett@cableone.net. Volunteers will welcome families and guide them through the store as they collect gifts for their families. They then help load the gifts, Christmas meal, and clothing in the family vehicles and help spread the joy of Christmas!
