Playdate Ideas

Spring is almost here yet some days are still a little too chilly for me to go outside and play with the boys. What do you do when you need to get out of the house and play?

Here are some ideas:

Public Library
Check your local library and see what kids programs they offer. One I have enjoyed is the Kindergarten Readiness Class at the Garden City Library. They read stories then have an activity plus each child receives a gift, i.e. story books, coloring books, magnet letters. Go HERE for more information.

Little Friends Indoor Park
Between the months of November and March, Boise Friends opens the doors of thier spacious, heated gym to children aged 0 to 6 and their parents.  With a variety of age-appropriate toys, fun equipment, and plenty of room to play, Indoor Park is a much-needed place for little ones to burn off energy during the cold and rainy winter.  Price is $1.25 for one child, with the price decreasing with more kids in a family; infants under nine months are free.  Punch cards are also available for further discounts (punch cards never expire). Go HERE for directions.

Monkey Bizness
They offer bounce houses, monkey gym,  air hockey and a small play area for 3 and under. Open Play is always $3.00 for kids 12-35 months or $7.50 for kids 3-18 years old. Go HERE for more information.
**Hometown Values Magazine usually always has a Buy One Get One FREE coupon that you can find HERE.

Just Kid'N Around
They offer a play structure and creative play areas such as the art room, kitchen set-up, farmer’s market, dress up closet and more, we offer popular games that promote coordination and fun, such as Air Hockey and Wii. Admission prices are $6.60 for 1-3 yrs old, $7.55 for 3-12 years old, children under 12 months old are FREE. Go HERE for more information.
**They accept competitors coupon so you can use the above coupon to get they BOGO deal.
