Today we watched a great DVD segment featuring Julie Barnhill. She asked us to all say "I am a mess of magnificent proportions!" Ah, what a relief to know that we all struggle sometimes. We were also challenged to ask for support from our other MOPS moms in times of need. After all, we are all moms and know the struggles we can all face. If you need help, just ask!!! If you need a friend to call, ask Erica or Ralynn to get you the names and numbers of some moms who are willing to help!
Speaking of moms who will need help, Erica and Audra formally announced that they are expecting! Congratulations ladies! We are so excited for you.
Michelle helped us make some cute button flowers for craft today using floral wire. They turned out so cute! Great idea.
We started to help one another with a "Moms Helping Moms" jar at our sign in table. Drop in a few coins, bills, gift cards, coupons, whatever you have to help other moms in our group.
We are still collecting baby food/formula for the Eagle Food Bank. Today we collected a full grocery bag and they were so grateful. So, clean out those cupboards for Spring and bring your baby food or formula you aren't using to the next meeting and help another struggling mom.
We will be having a wonderful meeting April 9th, so don't miss it! We are going to do our 2nd annual Easter Egg Hunt at Spring Creek Manor Senior Living Center in Eagle at the end of our meeting. It will be so much fun and the residents can't wait to see us.
