We had a very fun meeting today! We watched a DVD about relationships and had a thoughtful discussion about friendships and creating and keeping them. Kristin helped us make some really cute blocks that say FALL (although it feels like winter already). It was our first meeting with Mystery Mom goodies. Please remember your Mystery Mom with a little something at least once a month. We decided to cultivate some relationships within the group by writing our address on an envelope with a notecard inside and then exchanging them. The idea is to encourage another mom with a note in the next week or so. Even if you couldn't participate today, you can send your own note to another mom or friend and let them know how much you appreciate them!
Our big excitement came from our Butter Braids Fundraiser. We will be selling these yummy pastries for the next 2 weeks. Orders need to be turned in by Oct. 23rd and we will get delivery on Nov. 13th. If you've never had these before, you are missing out. They are so yummy and because they come frozen, they are easy to keep on hand. You can call and have them bring a sample to your office, club, etc. on Tuesday Oct. 14th. Make sure you contact them to arrange a sample by Oct. 13th. You can copy and paste info from the website into a quick email to send family and friends. See site link at the right.
